Should I use 301 or 811 with analog TV ?

I currently have a 811 and OTA antenna hooked up to my Mits. HDTV that I have listed for sale. After I sell the TV, I will be using an analog set for a while. Is there any advantage to using the 811 with the analog set, also with OTA antenna, over the 301? Or would I be better off using the 301, picture wise, with the analog TV, and OTA antenna? Thanks.

Using the SD outputs of the 811, you'll be able to see any digital substations of the OTA channels, along with the digital signal which might be better than the analog signal. Also the 811 will still integrate the OTA channels into your Guide, which the 301 will not do.
As for watching Dish Network programming, SD should look the same from the 301 or 811.

Another advantage is if your local ATSC OTA stations are broadcasting with DD5.1 audio you'd be able to receive that audio also.

811

Thanks guys, I never thought of that. So what resolution do I pick in the 811's menu, 480i? I never used the 811 with an analog TV before.
