Self Installing A 942

Oh great ones of the Satelliteguys forum...

My 942 is on the way and I wanted to know if on the first software download from 119 can the single line to input one go through a DPP44 or does it need to come right off the LNB? I know it can't go through a separator.

And, are there any other install oddities to look out for?

Not sure where you got youe infomation from but installed my 942 via a DPP44 with a seperater and took the initial download just fine.

Got my info from this and other forums. And also a couple of vender web sites that have partial install instructions.

The less I have to swap cables the better for me.
