That's, potentially, some very good news!cebbigh said:
When I lived up there KCPQ was killing it's Eng's at the station because they had to work both there and the Portland Tribune station. So it prolly will only help KCPQ become a better station. The things who's gonna pay the $$ and will they be run local are by automation from another location like the TV station in Bellingham.cebbigh said:

brad1138 said:If they do I hope they don't change the location of there Transmit tower. In southwest WA (Olympia south) KCPQ 13/Digital18 is the only station that comes through strong. I live about 15 miles south of Olympia and am able to get fox in HD off air and off course 4, 5, 7 HD through Dish. KCPQ is the only HD chan I can get off air but it works out nicely. They used to transmit WB22 digital from the same tower and I was able to get that but then, for some reason, they moved WB22's digital to a different tower and I no longer get it.
2 dish 500's won't look bad to you and it will only take up a little more space than the 1000. You won't be looking like an uplink just becuase you have 2 dishes. An uplink uses 10 meter dishes and to 20 inchers. Also when the winter rains show up that 1000 is going to tank.long_time_DNC said:Buncha idiot tech sup people... Besides, I don't want two dishes out there... I shouldn't have to have my house looking like an uplink center to compensate for their junk satellite...especially when it doesn't even entirely resolve the problem with signal loss, etc.
