I thought it kind of reminded me of Will and Grace. The pace and the jokes and the farcical way the plots develop. Linda Lavin is a nice addition for comedy. I haven't seen her much since the 70s.

Sean saves the world Sean blames NBC for dismal ratings

It's become all too easy to make NBC the scapegoat when your show on the network doesn't succeed (and it's likely partly true), but in the case of Sean Hayes and his comeback vehicle "Sean Saves the World," is it completely accurate?

Hayes' show has struggled in the ratings since its premiere earlier this month, but according to the star, it's not how or the show's fault. "To me, [the show] is working," he tells TheTVPage.com. "It's just the struggle of the elephant in the room which is, 'How do you get viewers to NBC?' NBC programs great shows, it just doesn't have the eyeballs CBS does."

It was off timer after 1st show and it is a goner and simple answer NBC shows stink!! :)

I have actually kind of liked the show. It has a Will and Grace feel to it with the fast paced farcical humor. There is no real feel of love or friendship between the characters though. That is the only real downfall for me on the show. But if it get cancelled eventually, I won't really be surprised.

I believe it has been. I believe they are playing out a few of the shows already shot. I dropped it after the second episode.

It has become a passable filler for me.
Certainly better than some!
Just not a big deal.
Personal preference of course, but I think Mom and the boss drag the show down, with their negative characters.

Yes I agree. The Boss is not needed at all. He is just an extra plot device. The mother could be changed to be a little more loving and less hateful ,but I guess we are supposed to believe that Sean turned out gay because of his stereotypical overbearing mother.
