Easy to do, skip my posts, do you work for Direct TV ? If you have Direct, you should try Dish, see what a real DVR is ! Wow, 1 hour HD, I think they should wipe everything off so we can get that !

DirecTV CLAIMS it's upcoming. That's a lot different from it actually being in HD. Go to scifi.com, there isn't one mention anywhere about a possible HD offering. D* is either BSing, or they plan on doing some cheesy upconverting.
Isn't it interesting that there is no mention of this event on the SciFi.com website or the NBC\Universal website? SCIFI.COMSci-Fi HD is up on D* as of this AM.

I was referring to the "launch" of SciFi HD. This is not a newsworthy event I guess. They did mention it at the most important NBC/Universal web site, https://www.nbcunetworks.com/Webpage/Techspecs/ViewPublicTechSpecs.aspx?NetworkId=MjE= since without telling the techs where it is nobody would have it.

This quote from Scott gave me the Idea to label the new D Channels on HD.... SD Plus??Yup not streached out at all. (Thank God!)
Its amazing how good the SD being shown on USA, Bravo and SCIFI look. Whats sad though is that is how it is supposed to look on the standard definition channels by default.
Since that's what the providers are giving D*, what makes you think it would be different on E*?This quote from Scott gave me the Idea to label the new D Channels on HD.... SD Plus??
It would look the same, but it just shows what picture quality could be if they would crank up the bit rates on all the channels. SD could look good, with HD looking Great !
