AT60/100 is the most highly penetrated, because EVERYBODY who subs to Dish gets those.

Err, AT120/200 includes all channels in AT60/100. AT120/200 has 3 million less than received the channel when it was terminated.

I was saying that exact thing, so you aren't really contradicting me with the "Err". I said that there appeared to be 3 million AT-60 only customers, which is surprisingly similar to your statement that AT-120 has 3 million less customers than AT-60.

Only 1 of the 650 or so was in the EPG stream. The data was getting into the guide on your receivers some other way. Perhaps one should be aware that no info in the Uplink reports comes from the EPG Stream.

Darn it, I lost all but one of my OTA digital Subchannels guide data just like the poster above did.

Did they have to back the change out? I did the typical Check Switch to download the guide again and a reboot. Still nothing.

I had just set up a bunch of DVR events also.

I lost Two MY TV networks (two DMAs) and one independent.

The independent came back after the reset but I still lost all the others.

Im talking about the OTA guide data thats in the 14,000 range. Something is up.


UPDATE: OOPs I read a few posts back on one from Scott. Looks like they did back it out. The uplink report shows many were REMOVED.

This sucks. I had something and now its gone. I wonder if my DVR events will fire on time?

The probably found that it caused some problem with receivers somewhere, probably some old ones freaked out with too many channels in the system or something. If they put them in the 9day guide only DVR owners will pick them up...

That's called PSIP data and yes, the stations *have* to send it.

Reasons NOT to use PSIP data, especially on a DVR:

* The common opinion is PSIP data is often inaccurate or incomplete.

* You likely won't see 9 days in the future for guide data.

* The best one, your receiver doesn't receive the data until you TUNE to that station.

Think about that last one.....

well...there's one other issue E* has with PSIP...if they allow the receiver to pick it up, they can't force you to get the locals package to get the what data they do provide as they are doing now.
