Yup which Dish said they were not going to carry.

It almost seems like they have no business plan over there, everything is done by last moment planning.

You are correct. As someone who works there, I can vouch for that 100%

In the ad I saw while watching the World Series, Dish did say they had more hd on the way. When is anyones guess. I would think we could be getting more before the 1st of the year. That is just a guess like everyone else.

Of course more HD channels are on the way. Flying cars are on the way, moon bases are on the way, and a manned Mars mission is on the way. All of which will arrive at about the same time.

dish should technically be able to add one more hd channel and replace the hd test channel right? Its just a duplicate of hd theater.

It is a mirror, not a duplicate. So the answer is no, there is not bandwidth there for a separate channel.
