The other 121/105 adds/moves are all part of the 121/105 residential removal campaign that has been going on for months.

It is encrypted so I really can't tell but it has a MPEG2 HD flag. And no, there wasn't any MPEG2 on this TP before. This was that TP they lit up and moved the two HD PPV's that made way for the USA HD and SCIFI HD slates on 110. So there was lots of room on this TP to play with.

Yep... it was encrypted earlier now it isn't. Pattern from : OmniTek LAB - Digital TV test signal generator and data analyzer

Could someone tell me what all this stuff means? I'm new to all this and to this sight. i"ve had dish network since august 2007 and have the top 250 with HD and allso would like to see more HD channels like a lot of you. You wont hear a lot from me I just like to read what everyone has to say. Thanks

What you see are the mad ramblings of the truly geeky uplink followers.

No... seriously.... digiblur posts the uplink reports. What you're seeing are the changes being made to the satellites as far as what programs are coming to you from which satellite, which transponder on that satellite, and what format it's in. Take a look at the reports and sit back and read them over. You'll probably understand most of it pretty quickly. If you have questions, ask. But beware.... you may get hooked.

and remember what you see is not always what you get. Until you see the channel lit in the guide on your screen, it doesn't exist even if the uplink report says so. It's just an overview of what could be not what necessarily it is.

By the way, a few people have been reasoning that since Dish has not made a public announcement that they plan to add more HD channels, that they might never add any more HD channels.

So, I thought I would point out that the current advertisement for Dish-HD
says (paraphrase):

Over 70 HD channels and more coming soon !

Since that is a public statement, it seems to me that it counts as a "plan" to add more HD channels. And reinforces my belief that E* would like to add more HD channels, and any lack thereof is due to negotiations or technical problems.

Some people won't be statisfied unless Dish comes out and says "We are going to add channel X on this date at this time." And if it comes on three minutes late, they will rip Charlie saying that he only cares about money, and wants to ruin their life.
