I am trying to fine tune a Dish 1000 system with hi-def. Does anyone know what is the best satellite finder meter to buy.

Thanks,
Bruce

If you insist on using a meter, the SF-95 should do it; but I personally prefer to view the Point Dish screen on a TV located near the dish. This isn't always possible, but sometimes you may be able to put a receiver and/or small TV outside running a separate temporary cable. Then select the center of the range of best signal.

I purchased one over e bay for under twenty dollars. What's good about this one it does not use a meter, it has an ear plug that plugs into meter and into your ear. The signal is very clear and lets you know with a very high pitch when on target.

Will switch to Dish from Directv - 622 & ota q's

FIOS or DISH -- Which should I choose?
