In related news, Apple has attempted to get the ITC to block importation of the devices as the patent is owned by Samsung. It is clearly an unfair trade practice to patent, manufacture and ship product completely in house.

When asked, Apple CEO Tim Cook replied "I'm sure someone here at Apple has thought about using a curved display in a phone. Shouldn't that be enough for prior art?"

Curved and flexible are not the same.
Will be interesting to see what they have in mind.
Obviously, a fold-up display is out of the question.
