Revolution

I expect one city to shoot down the missle and perhaps one city may not or one or more may fail. It takes so long for the missles to reach a destination which gives them time to find out and react. If power is truely on then that means cell phones start working and news stations and radios start working. Maybe something goes wrong and the power goes back out?

Ballistic missles from the US or Russia can reach their targets in less than 30 minutes and they're going further distances. How long do you think they take ?

News and radio stations start working ? Do you mean so they can warn people ?

A lot can/could/might happen. The missiles may be duds from being stored too long. They could run back and turn on the nanites for a few minutes to kill the nukes. They could tell the nanites to destroy the missiles. They might find a way in to abort the mission. They have a few months to solve this problem (i.e. the writers) before next season starts and they have to consider the fallout (pun intended) from the current plot...

:D

I was thinking of how communication would change things on the show. Even if the power goes back out, things could have happened while the power was on while people were able to communicate and so forth.

Power goes back out pretty soon or else they'll have to rename the show to Evolution

I don't see how two cities being nuked would significantly change the show besides shift it to a different area. Not saying that will happen, just don't see it as being as big a deal as some do.

They are headed to Texas next year for filming of season 2. I take it that the "President" in G.Bay ,Cuba is the one who ordered the nukes to destroy both Philadelphia & Atlanta , which are the capitals of the two republics that have power. He is returning to take back his country and seat of government ,even if he has to destroy each capital and seat of government in each republic that is standing in his way. With Monroe Republic and Georgia Republic gone ,that leaves the Plains nation , California Republic and Texas Republic left . So since they are filming in Texas next season, I take it to mean that they will spend next year fighting the "President" in Texas.

Sounds like they don't stop the nukes from the producers responses at Comic Con.

"It's a very intense second season," he revealed. "The east coast is totally destabilized. We're back to basics for the show -- how we all survive in this world, which is even more primitive than we saw in Season 1."

Here is the 2nd season teaser trailer they showed at Comic Con

I think I know one character that is getting eliminated on the show. Saw previews of another show coming on NBC this fall with a character from Revolution on it.
