Revolution

Face it, this show is dead after the first season. It'll never make it after the hiatus, people will have moved on. It's just moving at a glacial pace, and just not worth hanging around to see what happens anymore.

I've kind of been saying that this show would not succeed since the first episode. But I have continued watching it just to see how right I was.

Just watched the mid season finale. It was a good episode and with Monroe having power for helicopters it could get interesting. However, the hiatus will almost certainly kill the series.

Yup, I just hope they can finish it out and not leave us hanging.

Ratings were up this week (NBC: "Revolution" (8.7 million, 5.1/8). It was also the 18-49 leader for the hour: "Revolution" (2.9)

I was actually surprised that the writers actually thought to show the Pendant Booster IN the helicopter. I was fully expecting the Booster to still be in the cellar and the helicopter just goes on a little flight even though the Booster has limited range. My DVR timer will still be there and HOPEFULLY will start picking up new episodes after the break. Nothing much else on anyway and I only get OTA for the time being, at least until Game of Thrones and The Borgias comes back in the Spring.

I'll bet you it was originally written with it not being in the helicopter until someone thought of that !

Still trying to figure out why Rachel didn't get back into the basement and take the Pendant once the others were gone. That would have ended the heliocopters right away.

How many Pendants does Monroe have at the moment, just the one that Rachels been working with ?
If so, they are still limited in range, unless they take the one with them in the helicopter , but all other items running would quit.

Yeah, that bothered me too. No reason she could not have taken it, but then the producers would not have been able to have the helicopter. Got to add excitement to get ratings.

Maybe she did not take it because she DID sabotage the amplifier...and will destroy the pendant with it....huh? huh? ;)

If they bring it back the same time as the Voice this spring,it'll do fine, because that's what carried it this fall.

I think Rachel was looking for another screwdriver instead. I think Monroe only has the one pendant. There are supposed to be 12 of them and we know there is another group that has at least two, the guy with the cattle prod had one and the black woman also had one. They are both with the folks with the Hadron Collider now.

Just out of curiosity, how many here are fans of The Voice as well as Revolution ? I'm certainly not. My wife and daughter are, I guess.... They watch The Voice, X-Factor, American Idol, etc (none of the dancing shows though). I just think it's unusual for people to be sci-fi type fans and singing competition fans.

I can't raise my hand. You make a good point The Voice as a lead in to Revolution is quite odd.

I for one am a fan of the voice, kind of. I always watch up till the live shows then I lose interest completely.

Can't hit the Skip Forward button fast enough to get to Revolution, so, NO, I'm not a fan of The Voice. I don't think NBC has anything else they could lead in with that is sci-fi/fantasy. They need a Walking Dead clone to lead in with.

I would not call myself a fan, as reality tv in general holds very little interest for me. However, as these types of competitions go, I can watch it before any others. The back and forth between the judges is humorous and entertaining. My wife watches it, and I often find myself watching a few minutes here or there as I do other stuff. There are some very talented people on it.
