Revolution

To be cancelled shortly thereafter because the entire fan base completely forgot about the show....

Another reason why NBC is in Last place again. It has been way over ten years since NBC was "Must See tv". I predicted that they would kill this show by shelving it for so long. They do this to just about all their shows with potential , then wonder why they end up cancelled.

You predicted that The Walking Dead wouldn't make it either....

Walking Dead benefitted greatly from people who watched the first season on Netflix and then started watching on AMC.

Walking Deadbenefits heavily from a comic fan base, zombie apocolpyse fan base, and the difference expectations of cable viewership, where lower numbers are accepatble.

I know a lot of people who watch TWD and not a single one of them reads comics. As for lower numbers being acceptable, viewer numbers are still relative. Yes, fewer numbers are acceptable and normal on cable networks vs regular network, but even AMC, USA, TBS have a threshold.

Just checked Tracy Spiridakos' page at IMDB and they list no new episodes of Revolution for her. Don't they usually indicate episodes in advance, presuming they know details ?

They do have what appears to be an official Facebook page that has current postings...

Oh well, let's perk things up again:

Yes, and that threshold is why Walking Dead survives on AMC and why Revolution may or may not survive on NBC. Plus, the costs to make Walking Dead are a lot lower as well.

IMDB is user edited, so take it with the same grain of salt that you take with wiki.

TWD has much more compelling characters.Even though most of the actors are foreign, they seem to do a better job than the actors on The Revolution.TWD seems more realistic too.

So Zombies walking around is more realistic than the world losing power.

I was just waiting for someone to point that out lol. What I mean is...not the zombies,I'm talking about how humans would behave in a end of the world epidemic/pandemic scenario.Throw out the zombies and I still think you get a glimpse of how things might be.The whole world without power and the way they present the story at least to me seems less unrealistic. If you get my point.

I no longer read comic books but I DO play some video games in which the main object of the game is to cut through hordes of zombies to get from point A to point B, namely the Left 4 Dead series.

As far as freshly-mowed grass in TWD and Revolutions. I bet reel push mowers would be back in fashion. I used one when I was a kid. My dad thought it was safer for a kid to cut grass with a set of large spinning blades instead of a power mower. Michonne DID cut the arms off zombies and used them as pack mules so it stands to reason that they could be used to push reel mowers. Just have to get them to walk in a straight line.
