Resetting a Dish Remote

I have a Dish 20.0 IR remote that has lost TV programming and will not reprogram. All satellite functions are working, but no TV controls work. I press the TV button until all the LEDs flash. I enter the correct code, press the # button and instead of controlling the TV, the receiver switches to the Search page.

I've noticed that after I press the first digit of the code, the SAT button flashes. Is that normal? Any help would be appreciated.

Solved

I let the unit sit without batteries for 12 hours. Everything is working again. Stuck bit? Static? Don't know, but it's working again on the same batteries, which were the first things I tried when it started acting up.

Have you replaced the batteries? It will act like that when the batteries are low.

Thanks for the reply. I'd replaced the batteries with no result. Took them out and parked the unit for about 12 hours. Put the same batteries in this morning and everything is fine.
