Receiving Directv or Dish Network from the UK

is there anyway of getting any of those Satellites from the UK. I could buy the hardwares in the US etc...

legally .. nope.

not quite legally .... if you know someone over here with the hardware and service who could setup a slingbox or orb to stream the content over the web... you could log-in and "watch" live.

but the satellites footprint would not get anywhere near the UK.
