receiver help

I have a vip 211 a dish pro 301 dish pro 111 and an older model 3900 and was wondering are they swapping out smart cards in these receivers cause they are in my 722 dvr i was wondering because i'm not using these receivers right now just the 722 and didn't want to waste money hooking these older receivers up if they werent swapping out the smart cards. Thanks for any help.

If the receivers are not active, Dish will not send you new cards for any receiver. If you want to reactive them later, Dish will supply you with a new card then.

I was wondering about that cause a few years ago when they swapped out the green cards for yellow ones they wanted to charge me $50.00 for a new card i wonder if they will want to try that again?
