Receiver Errors during initial setup, Need Help

D did the install of the Dish. I hooked up the receivers.

Call them out to do the repair and maybe realignment/LNB replacement. Since this is a recent install by them, you should let them handle it.

No sense in you fixing something that is their problem.

Called the installer, they are coming back out to check the dish alignment.
Also, the channels that I was receiving 771 errors on have duplicates that work correctly. Like ESPN 2 and others in the upper 70's. So is this a real problem or is this normal?

Sorry for newbie question. I can't seem to find any problems with missing channels. What channels would be missing if you had little or no reception on Sat 110 and 103 (s)?

You may not notice any missing channels from 110, since there are only mpeg2 hd channels there. 103s carries local hd channels. Your local hd channels may come from 99s, so that wouldn't be an issue, either. Which channels are you getting 771 errors on? It does sound like your dish needs retuning. Why didn't Directv install the receiver/dvr and check this for you? That is part of the install.
