Question for anyone on a bundled deal

I recently enquired about a bundle with bellsouth ( yes I know they only have directv ) and was informed that there is a new FCC fee that is being tacked on for $7.99 a month. Is anyone else seeing this on the dish network att bundles or has come across this recently when they have called to order a bundle? Im in Georgia and havent heard about any state tax on satellite services or on bundled services and the csr couldnt give me any more details on it.

Watch out on the bundle deals.
When it comes time that you may want to upgrade, the 'bundler' may not let you.

That and/or if you decide to cancel one of them (switching internet providers for instance) there are often penalties that you will have to pay. Really no different than signing up for the 18 month Dish agreement. But with the bundle you are agreeing to do it for many services, not just one.
