Question about splitters for use with 2 swm64's

Sorry title should have referred to Swm16 not Swm64

Checking on SolidSignal it shows http://www.solidsignal.com/pview.asp?p=SP2WAPHL&d=Skywalker-2-way-Splitter-for-Off-air-and-Satellite-signals-(SKY23302D as the splitters to use. My local Lowes has these splitters http://www.lowes.com/webapp/wcs/sto...&catalogId=10051&productId=3583098&cId=detail which I could pick up tomorrow instead of waiting for them to be shipped from SolidSignal. My question is are the ones at Lowes equivalent to the ones at SolidSignal.

What recvrs are you using in the set up and what are you trying to accomplish ?

How can you have a SWM set up without having the required splitters already ?

I will be adding another Swm16 with HR44 & client, it is a second acct so I will not be using multi-room between existing receivers and new ones.

You say this is a separate account ?

How much is on THAT system ?


Also, as far as Solid Signal, they usually can get your stuff within a few days.

To answer your question yes the lowes splitters will work. Get 4 and set them up exactly the same as the document states.

So you are going to have 2 Genies on separate accounts,but you want the ability for them to see each other & to operate together under a combined whole home dvr set up? Are you also duplicating the programming package you subscribe to under both accounts? That is a lot of coin if I ever tried that,A LOT OF COIN.
