Question about selling my receiver

I just sold my Dish receiver to someone on ebay. Do I need to disconnect it before anyone else can use it? If so, do I just call Dish and have them disconnect it?

I know this is simple, but I just wanted to make sure before I hand it off.

Yes, you need to have them take it off your account.
