I think If we can communicate to the receiver like stargaze said through the RS 232 connector that could be great. I think we need to look into that option.

I have one of those cables that came with one of my boxes. When I posted about it previously, no one had any idea what it was for. Now I think we know.
I'll experiment with a WSNET 410 that can't be used anyhow, but I won't with a good receiver.
This is a photo of the 2 cables GI put in the box with a DSR410 receiver. One has a female DB9 to 3.5mm and RCA, the other is a parallel to male DB9.
Made a cable RCA to RS232.
Ran a software program from usbj
Sent data via (S)
Got data via (G)
I have a lot to learn about this but am very happy with progress.
Don't want to give the 4D a heart attack with a Quad core

I went with a dual core last time I encoded something in h264 I wish I had a quad.
