It has been now 3 months since my 722K has not been able to receive VOD's. The channel '1' no longer appears in the EPG. The VOD's are not locked out and I do not have any parental control locks. I have already done the reset and unplugged the power. I also have done a check switch and my sig strength is above 60 on all transponders and sats. I also power down my unit at night everyday. I called DISH and as usual they are useless and do not know why this is occurring. It is only happening on my 722K. My other standard 722 is fine. My EPG updates daily and I have also had the unit plugged in to the ethernet cable as well as it not being plugged in. Still the POS does not receive VOD's.

I had the same problem with my 722, and my DVR functions were also very erratic. After countless calls and reboots I finally got a tech that told me it was a bad hard drive. I replaced the unit and it started downloading that evening and now have 23 VOD titles.

One thing that may help with VOD titles is leaving the receiver off (completely, TV1 and TV2) at least once a week between 1am and 9am. That is when the VOD titles are downloaded to the receiver. If you start noticing them disappearing, the likely cause is that the receiver has not had the time to download it, as it is in use during that time frame daily. It is very common not to leave it off during this time because customers watch news or programming early before work, or late into the night. I have gotten this call countless times, and that is almost always the issue. Ya, it can be inconvenient to have to leave it off during that time frame, but if you can figure out a day that it is less intrusive (even if not the same day every week), you will notice the VOD titles returning. Hope this information helps!

Yes, I turn off the receiver everyday from 11pm and it stays off until 2pm the following day.

You don't happen to have the channels locked and hidden do you? Are you able to access them in the 501 area, or through DVR button-DISH Cinema? I no longer get them on channel 1 anymore, but have access to them on 501 right before the PPV's and the DISH Cinema option. Sorry to ask these questions, I just want to cover my bases and get this taken care of for you.

The VOD's are not locked or hidden. I cannot see them in the EPG on channel 1 or 501. If I plug my eithernet to the receiver I can manually download them via DISH Cinema but I cannot see the movie trailers since the VOD's are not downloaded to the box. I used to have all the VOD's, but as DISH cycled the movies I started to loose them from the EPG one by one. Now I do not have any since the newer ones have not been downloaded via the SAT signal.
