Phoneline Issue (622)

Hey guys just a quick question. About two weeks ago we had to swap out a 622 RCVR due to the HD not working correctly. Got a replaced 622 and now have a new issue with the phoneline. For some strange reason the replaced 622 seems to be killing all the phone lines in my house. I do not know if it is a voltage issue or what. When we first hooked it up everything was fine, but now as long as the 622 is plugged into the phone our phones will not work... Any suggestions or settings I need to check... Thanks... CC

try a hard rest. if that doesn't work I would contact tech support and get another one.

Or just don't plug it into the phone line if you don't need to. Less trouble that way. (Not to excuse Dish giving out receivers with shorted modems, but...)

The back of the 622 has 2 connections that the phone line will fit. If you put it in the network connection it will ground out the phone.

Yes, make sure you are plugged into the correct connection.
