It is only $10 a month, Showtime alone used to be $15 when you subscribed via Cable/Satellite.
For that $10, you now get the majority of CBS and Showtime shows in 4K, along with P+ originals and movies, sports, like NFL, College Football and March Madness in 1080P, vs the bitrate starved 1080i of Cable/Satellite.
You also get all the other CBS content, that is not in 4K, in 1080P, also with your local CBS Live Channel.
Compared to that $150 you pay to DirecTV, where the majority of the programming is reruns or stuff you do not watch ( like the local RSN you have to pay a fee for you do not watch, as you have said).
Paramount+ is a bargain at that $10.
Wow, really ?
Were talking about Paramount Plus, were talking about CBS ... thats 1 channel
Why did you bring up D* at $150 ... that covers ALL my channels
I watch the same things on the channels that are on, doesn't matter if I watch them on Sat or Stream, I'm still watching the same things.
Now that the new seasons are coming into play, yes, I am watching the New episodes.
During the Off season, yes, reruns are there ...
You ALWAYS bring up Reruns .....
There are a Ton of people that watch Reruns.
When I have nothing of interest to watch, I'll often time turn on Me TV (Which is 100 % reruns) they are GREAT.
TBS, TNT, USA to name a few are also Reruns ....
The GARBAGE that is on these days, many don't like.
I for one Don't watch SURVIVOR or Any of those "REALITY" shows that have Nothing REAL about them.
They can take that Crap off and save alot of effort.
All the Dancing or singing shows or You've Got Talent is nothing other than Cheap TV for those that need to pass the time.
If I want to have D* Sat, that is MY choice, I pay for it.
I also do streaming .... I don't NEED it, i chose to have it, mainly because its there.
I don't really want to have to pay for 17 different networks to watch what I can get on one format.
I don't know how to come up with 17 different User names and passwords for each network I want to turn on, that I may use a time or two a month.
If I were to drop D* .... would I still be able to get all the stuff I currently get ?
Last time I logged on to one of my apps, it asked to log in and it required a TV verification, I told them I had D* and was allowed access, how would I have access to that without D* ?
They are making TV way to complicated ....
Btw, I have been paying $60 for the year, as you know for the last several years.
I use it occasionally, so I don't mind $60.
If they won't give me the deal again this year, so be it, I'll turn it off and probably turn it on for maybe a month thruout the year.
