Thanks. Guess my Tivo 10-250 won't receive it
as it's only capable of MPEG2. I'll have to replace it with an MPEG4 receiver.
Yep, it's replacement time. IIRC D* was making special deals for folks that had the HR10-250 to do the upgrade.

DirecTV had had YES HD for a long time now, just until a couple months ago only the NYC local area had it because it was on a spot beam. With the launch of DirecTV 10 they moved it to CONUS coverage so this is the 1st year that MLB-EI will be able to use YES HD for their games.
Rad: Where can I see a list of what's on DirecTV 10 and what's Conus vs. spot? I've unsucessfully tried to find it on Lyngsat.
Edit: Forget the question. I found it here HD - DirecTV 10 at 102.8°W - LyngSat
Is that it's HD location now? I thought I also saw YesHD listed on 110.
Thanks,
YES hd is on 119 in mpeg2 for those with legacy equipment. I think it is still there anyway. It is also on D10 at 103 in mpeg4.
IIRC it popped up in MPEG2 on one of the 9X channels for some games mainly for MLB-EI subscribers. But until the move to CONUS it was on a spotbeam from one of the Spaceway's in MPEG4 24x7.
I guess the only confirmation I can give you is that I can receive YES HD in Austin TX now which I couldn't until they started adding all the channels on DireccTV 10, so yep get that dish updated.
