I havent used it, it has not seemed to slow down my experience, and being at the bottom of the page I rarely see it.

So stay or go, I am fine either way.

Same here, I hardly notice it being at the bottom of the page and it hasn't interfered with my SatelliteGuys experience. Like Todd never seen a reason to use it yet though. I did notice that it is changing constantly instead of showing the same things now.
So don't matter to me either way.

Wow! So, it was clicked on 0.00007% of the time. I think its wasting CPU cycles.

So, the number of clicks would have generated enough revenue to cover the extra bandwidth and cpu cycles generated for it? That should be your deciding factor.

Those links generate no revenue. Nor are they generated by our servers. They are generated and served by Google in an iframe.

It is their feeling that... "Your users will be more engaged on your site and will help them discover new content on your site."

It also goes on to say... "
With Matched content, your visitors can:

• Discover relevant articles on your site
• Spend more time on your pages
• Engage more with your content"

Not sure if it has done that here.

You may already have this data, but I wonder if most members tend to stick to a fairly limited number of sub-forums here ? I mean, I doubt many people visit the Dish, Directv, the various cableco forums, etc.

It's only been a week, but a click rate of 0.00007% may improve some but has a long way to go before it could be considered beneficial.

I agree with Hall on this one, to really see good stats it would need to run longer. Give more people time to start seeing it there and using it.
Having said that though, I bet if you leave it for another week, the stats won't improve much.

The suggestions made are either threads I've already viewed or threads that I have no interest in.
