Seem there was some posts about editing your pids etc. over your home network. I can't find the software download or even posts about using it.

Openbox /Skybox Models LAN Sharing Tool_Shenzhen Yojia Technology Co., Ltd. is where I got it. Haven't used it yet though.

That's the one I use.

firmware after may 5, 2011 had the lan support.
Prior to that you have to load via usb or rs232.
Not true ftp,since it only uses tcp/udp port 1000
