I have a dish 500 lnbf dish pro 119w on one side 110w on the other. I can only get one to come up. I'm hooking it to a vip 222 this is for my camper on a tripod. a wiring diagram would be great. and when i go to watch tv the channels that do work are very slow.

Chances are the antenna is misaligned. When you do a Check Switch test, the 119 satellite should be on Port 1 and the 110 satellite should be on Port 2 if the antenna is properly aligned. If you are getting 119 on Port 2 or 110 on Port 1, you are misaligned. Forum members can probably give you more detailed help if you look at your switch matrix and report back what is showing on Port 1 and Port 2 in the matrix.

You don't need a switch, but if your lnb is a dishpro twin, you need two cables from the dish to the receiver and you can't use the separator to combine the two inputs at the receiver. If the lnb is a Dishpro Plus twin, then you can use one cable and the separator.

If it just says dishpro then that's what it is, Dishpro plus will say that on it. If you have the dishpro try taking out the separator at the receiver and just connect the cable directly into the receiver at either one of the sat in connections. Then run check switch and you will get a message saying that one of the receivers has no signal, but the other receiver should work.

Logo's are DP = Dish Pro; DPP = Dish Pro Plus; no logo = legacy. Legacy would require sw type switch, other may have switch built in or may be able to use some combination of DP/DPP switches depending on what you are trying to combine together.
