One local has lower volume

So I just got the hopper 3 a couple weeks ago, I had a 922 for many years.
I've noticed the NBC channel I have to turn up the volume about 25% more than all other channels [this also happens to be one that was in the long dispute during the Olympics]. I don't have an OTA adapter yet so I can't compare local volume to Dish vol.

Any ideas?

Call DISH tech department and make a complaint and you might also detail the complaint to dishquality@echostar.com .

My NBC is the same way in Colorado Springs, CO. I will call and submit as well

Make sure you're comparing surround sound to surround sound. If you're going from your NBC (presumably in surround sound) to a channel with Stereo audio, the stereo audio will sound louder.

Same problem for me except it is only on network programming. Local origination is fine.
