I've upgraded my recivers. Now I've added a fifth reciever. The older reciver is taking the signal from the newer box. I'm using a in-line signal amp on the new reciver. still no help. Any help with this would be highly helpful.

I think we need to know the receiver model numbers!!! And what dish etc you have?

I ask because I don't know what you mean by "older receiver is taking the signal from the newer box".

I guess I should have given that information. The new direct tv reciever is D11, the old one is a Hughes SD HBH. The in-line amp is a satalite ampifiler 50-2050 Mhz. The in-line is going to the new reciever, tried it before the splitter, after the splitter, then on each line, same thing happens.

are you using a splitter like a cable splitter or a multiswitch, if you are using a cable splitter it will not work
you will need a multiswitch for 5 receivers

Back to basics. The four lines from the dish connect to the WB68 mulitswitch and then you connect to the receivers. No amplifiers should be needed.
