Noise/Motion Noise in Background on D*

Just got my D* HD hooked up and must say I now think I understand HD Lite.

Have the 55" SXRD and from 11ft HD from D* just does not blow me away...its pretty great, but less than I had hoped.

My biggest gripe is the noise in the background (kind of like a constant motion in the background on scenes, or mosquito noise). Not terrible, but just wish it werent there.

Is this HD Lite? Digitial compression? Or is it a problem with my install? THe SXRD is fine, as DVD's look superb....

Sadly, it is (over)compression causing macro blocking[1], nothing to do with your install.
