No OTA local digital channels on TV2 ?????

The HD channels from satellite are viewable on TV2. But only the locals SD channels from satellite are in the guide, not local digital channels from OTA. Via my 622.
Am I not doing something right?

You're doing nothing wrong. They don't display on TV2.

But you can still watch on TV2- start recording OTA on 1 and immediately start watching the DVR copy on TV2. It's a work around, but it works.

You can watch OTA signals on TV2 if the unit is in single mode - in other words, the same programming on both TV1 and TV2. I do it all the time.

Anyone know if there's a technical reason why you can't watch OTA stuff on TV2 output (in dual mode) or if it's a feature they haven't enabled in software (yet) ??

I can't think of a marketing reason not to allow this....

Because it only has one OTA Tuner. And TV1 has been assigned control of it.

My favorite trick is to put the 622 in Single mode w/ Shared View, start recording the digital OTA channel and watch the recording from TV2 while using PIP/Swap to watch something else on TV1. If you fast forward, the feed is technically live (but then you miss out on what you were watching when walking over to TV2.
