Why would the CFL be so damaged by a team playing 8 games in Canada?

As to an earlier point, there has never been more talent available, I don't think that's a roadblock fire expansion.

Current long term leases are probably to blame for this topic. When talking about teams to LA only a handful of teams have ever been in the mix.

I also think 2 expansions could go there, or a team moving along with an expansion team joining then in LA and an expansion filling the void in a vacated market (oof) or in a new one.

Would live for Vegas to be in that discussion but that's not reasonable as there's no venue.

Fans in toronto might want a team but fans in the other CFL cities (and the owners and the league itself) would probably be less than thrilled with losing their biggest market.

True. But those other teams and cities won't have pull. I could see the league complaining.

Would live for Vegas to be in that discussion but that's not reasonable as there's no venue.

Is there a venue in Los Angeles waiting? I thought one had to be built there as well.

Farmer's Field I think it's called is under construction, but they've already gotten approval for team(s) waiting to move in to play at the Rose Bowl or something. Could have some names mixed/wrong there but you get the gist. LA has stuff in progress, Vegas has had dozens of stadium projects promised and then fold in the last 2 decades. Looks like UNLV might be getting a 50-60k seat stadium, Do any NFL teams play on a college campus?

The Arizona Cardinals played at Sun Devil Stadium at the University of Arizona for 18 years until they built their own stadium in '06.

Yes, and thanks for letting me know. I thought gist of it with LA was the city promised the sun and moon to get an NFL franchise back in the city. I wasn't aware that something was in the works.

Vikings will be playing at the Gophers stadium for awhile.

Also, it was mentioned earlier that building will not start till a Team has confirmed they are moving there when completed.
