Ok I did the foil thing on the outside LNB's and I get nothing so I take the foil off the 129 LNB and it gets 119 I move it around picks up 110 but no 129 I get 70 on 110 and 56 on 119 but cannot get 129, is my LNB bad I have a 1000.2 on a tripod for my motorhome in Northern Ca.

It sounds like you have no line of sight to the 129 satellite and the 119 lnb may be bad.

If I read your troubleshooting correctly, the 119 lnb alone (110 and 129 covered with foil) can find no signal at all?

If you remove the foil from the 129 lnb (left one from behind the dish) it can find both 110 and 119 but not 129.

129 should be 8-10 degrees west of 119 and down a degree or two.

If you can find neither 110 nor 119 with the 119 lnb that indicates the 119 lnb is bad since you found both with the 129 lnb.

Can you find 110 and 119 with the 110 lnb (right one viewed from behind the dish)?

I wouldn't throw in the towel on the LNB yet. I'm thinking LOS or just alignment issues still.

But if he covers the 110 and 129 lnb's and cannot find anything with the 119 lnb, it may also be bad.

You might take it to a local Dish retailer and see if they can test it for you (bolt it to an already set up D1000.2 dish.

See you guys...
