Can someone fill me in as to how the NHL Network will handle the playoffs?

From what I understand CI will not show all of the playoffs but Versus will. Is that correct? If so, will the NHL Network show all of the playoffs or will Versus be the only one?

Thanks,
Bob

PS When does the NHL network start on Dish...I know there is a dedicated thread but it is LONG.

Last year, NHL CI showed the first round or two of the playoffs if memory serves with Versus showing some games in HD.

By the 3rd round I think it was Versus exclusively.

Network TV showed the Cup finals.

Don't know what games during the playoffs NHL Network will show but they are already showing select games this season so I suspect they will show some during the playoffs also.

NHL Network is already on Dish on channels 403/559 but you can view it only with the HD package. No SD version is being broadcast over Dish.

Wow, three weeks into the season and someone is already talking about the playoffs? Come on, they are what eight months away?

yes, centre ice shows the first two rounds - versus also shows games at this time - the final round is split with the first 2 games on versus and games 3-7 on NBC.

Yeah seems early, but I don't want to change my account from SD 250 to 100HD and then miss the finals since Versus is only included in the 250 package!

CI will show the RSN's for the first two rounds if they cover the games. VS and NBC also cover some 1st and 2nd round games but sometimes don't have exclusivity.

Third and 4th rounds are all on VS or NBC.
