NHL on NBC: Sunday, Feb 18, 3:30pm

NBC is presenting three nice games in HD this afternoon at 3:30...ok, so it's NBCHD, but it's sure beats SD.

Chicago Blackhawks vs. N.Y. Rangers
Washington Capitals vs. Pittsburgh Penguins
San Jose Sharks vs. Dallas Stars

The games are regional so check with your local broadcaster. I'll be watching Was vs. Pitt (local) and the Sharks vs. Stars (*C) split-screen on my Mits. Enjoy your afternoon of hockey.

I am not a Caps fan, but I'll certainly watch them in HD. Unless now (Comcast SportsNet was just added to the lineup), quite a number of HD games on INHD and HDNet have been blacked out in our area. The Penguins are looking pretty good this year...

And crappy SD at that! It was awful PQ. I can't believe they spent so much money on AA arena to equip it for HD and we get elementary schhol quality SD.

I'm complaining to NBC.

I am not much of a hockey fan but I always rooted for the Penguins because they were the closest team to me, until Columbus came along. I root for both of them now.
