I am so looking forward to CI in HD and this I think is making me make the jump to Dish from COX....One question I havent seen answered, did they get NHL Network to be a part of the package as well like they were saying?

I don't think its been officially announced. All we've heard is what Charlie said in the Charlie chat about it being part of the CI package. Hopefully they are just taking one step at a time and will announce the NHL Network sometime soon.

I freaking hope so...and it looks like i will be getting VS too....I was originally not going to get it because I refused to opay for the AT250 just for that, but theres like AMC and some other old movie channels in there too that My GF wants and needs, so I guess my hand will be forced. A little more than I would like to pay since it would make it more than my cable bill but I suppose CI in HD and playoffs in HD will make it well worth it...

For me VS is only another $5/month and since the Wings will have a game on there once a month, I don't mind. Plus it'll win me a few brownie points with my GF"s daughter since she likes the Sleuth channel.

You will not have access to channel 360 for the NHL as you are out of market, but when/if the NHL Center Ice HD channels launch you would have access on those channels to the HD content being provided.

BTW: They are currently conducting test events on the NHL Center Ice HD channels and they may become available within the next few days.

Wacky question... For the Rangers, their home games are in HD. But Dish does not yet carry MSG HD, is there some way for them to carry these games in HD without regulaly carrying the channel?

On a side note, how can you not provide games in HD for the most valuble American franchise? Next we'll see the Coyotees in HD...But us North Easterners keep getting shafted.

Yeah, I'm curious about that as well. Does Dish have the ability to get CSN Philly feeds for Flyers games like MLB does?
Jay, unfortunatly us Flyer fans get the shaft when it comes to getting the Philly feed No CSN unless its a game thats only a French broadcast I think there was 4 or 5 games total last season.

I thought I remember someone saying one of the sticking points for CI was that they wanted the NHL Channel separate from CI. Is my memory faulty about this?
