great news - 70 more and they will be at the advertised number of HD channels for 2005!30 HD Channels added this morning. Including BTN HD, Smithsonian, A&E, CNN, Learning Channel, NFL Channel, History Channel, TBS. Etc. Many more to come in the upcoming weeks.

Me and the CSR went at it at first we was reading me the canned reponse in not available yet, I told him check his system it's in there. He was suprised nobody told him that is was now available, I told him to go to Sayguy.us for the latest E* news LOL

Just called Dish at 800-333-3474, got a friendly CSR who I could understand. She checked my account and said, "Yes" you are signed up for automatic renewal, and first installment will be on your next bill at early bird price. I hung up, went to my channel guide online, and walla, channels 543-558 are now displaying on my online guide, AND when I check my purchase history under system setup in my online menu, there it is--an early bird charge of $149 for the 2007/2008 CI package. All of this within 2 minutes of my call to Dish. All those worries for nothing!!
Well congrats- bout time they did something!

Dish CI doesn't broadcast all their games in HD because the Fox affiliates don't broadcast all their games in HD.
Who did you guys talk to? I called and they said it wasn't available yet. I told the lady about the above posts. She said hold on and she checked and came back to say that she still didn't have clearance to allow orders.
I guess I know it's coming though, which is good news.

But seriously, I'm glad you all got Center Ice. No hockey fan should be deprived of the upcoming season. Unlike what happened this spring with Extra Innings.
I need to see the NHL channels in HD active and the NHL network active before I order. What about MSG HD?
By any chance did anyone ask if NHL Network was part of CI or if it will be available while they were on the phone??
Nah, I shoulda done that! But you know those sales reps seem to know almost nothing. Maybe I'll call and hit pu tech support and see what they say.

Called again, different rep, same answer.
Very true. First two reps said it wasn't available. Second was a dick about it, saying he knew what he was doing and he couldn't add it. Third time was the charm.
Tell the Reps to look on this page if they say it's not available..Then ask them why would it be on there if it isn't..

I did that with both of the first two reps, and mentioned that the channels were up. Logic didn't seem to be their strong suits.
The third rep didn't need to be shown anything, she just added it.
