NFL 2019 Season

And the Saints get SCREWED by the refs AGAIN ...

Game should be tied at 27 ....

Saints got called for a 1/2 distance penalty on a point after attempt, but it should have been a 5 yard variety as both feet were firmly back on the ground.

Brees and Company moved down the field with 37 seconds to kick a 58 yard FG to win it ...

Now they won't be talking about the Refs error all week.

Saints 30-28 ...

Quite a game.

Saints screwed yet again! Obvious fumble by Rams QB derp in Saints territory easily returned by Saints for TD. Incompetent ref called it incomplete so play was stopped. Review showed a definite fumble. Saints ball but no TD. Unbelievable.

Yup, thats 2 weeks in a row ....

And NOW, with Brees out (don't know for how long) ... its looking bad.

Looks like Brees will be out 6-8 weeks, torn hand ligaments. Saints will have to win at least 3 of those games (bye week is one) to have a chance for the playoffs when Brees gets back. Don’t see that happening with Teddy.

Also, Big Ben is out for the year ...
I have confidence in Mason Rudolph, but well see when he gets in actual game action when he's the starter and see what happens ...

I wish them luck, Saints looked like one of the best teams again before the Brees injury. Teddy had moments of brilliance before his injury at Minnesota, maybe it will work out after all.

A backup QB who has really looked good is the Jags Minshew. You must be really good if cocky Troy Aikman likes you.

First impression of Minshew was

Tropic Thunder,
Ben Stiller's character,
Tugg Speedman

Did anyone see Steelers Mason Rudolph get smoked today ?
He went down, was actually knocked out on the field ...
He didn't move for awhile, they took off the face mask, brought out the cart, that died, and he ended up walking back to the locker room and sent to the hospital.

The NFL came out and said that a cart wasn't required ... really ?
They HAD to have another cart on the other sidelines, right ?

Steelers' Rudolph concussed on big hit by Ravens

I saw it this morning. That guy needs to be suspended.

I have reached my limit with Al Riveron. He has blown more replay reviews than anyone short of complete incompetance can possibly blow so either he's a genuine twit or he has a personal agenda going on. Either way he has to go before what little is left of the NFL's credibility disappears entirely. Anyone who watched that Pat's defender grab the arms of the Giants receiver before the ball ever got there knows that was pass interference, no ifs, ands, or buts, but not Al.

P.S No, I'm not a Giants fan.

Is it just me? I'm struggling to watch ESPN's MNF games with color analyst "Booger" McFarland.
I don't know if it's the whine or cadence in his voice but I find myself exhausted after a 3-hour game. It was a good game last night but just for a break turned over and watched the NLS game second half.
