This will be another mistake by the dolphins. I'm so tired of this crap. We have many holes to fill, this money should be spread out among good players, not one great. This isn't basketball!!!!

I like the thought of the Raiders going with Knighton and Cobb through FA and then draft WV WR in the first round.... for my Raiders.

The Bears have traded Brandon Marshall to the Jets

Sounds like the Bears are only getting a late round draft pick for him. As a Bears fan I'm a little disappointed but I understand why they're moving him. This move also clears up a lot of money for the Bears.

I'm not sure yet on Cutler. I wouldn't be surprised if they get rid of him but I just don't see it yet. It's the one position that you can't just pick up anyone. There are hundreds or WRs and RBs to pick up but only so many QBs that can play. I don't see any in the draft that can start right away either.

I'm somewhat surprised by the support many in the Detroit papers and forums that are giving Suh as in wanting them to Keep him.
When he does something stupid (he's had a number of on field screw ups) those fans/writers want him GONE.

I don't care one way or the other, if he goes, theres a lot of money that could be used to get players needed, if he stays, and behaves, he's a good player and importantly, the other players seem to want him to stay.

Paying a RB in today's nfl 10 million is insane and cap suicide. But, he will fit perfect in Buffalo's new ground and punt offense.

Go ahead and let the Dolphins overpay for Suh, I mean he helps but certain team will line up a throw short passes in a game and render him useless.

I love that these team make panic moves to compete with the Patriots. One day or maybe not they'll learn you need a quaterback to compete.

@RotoPat: The AFC East is a medieval village. Chaos and hope alternate amongst the subjects, but the king never leaves the castle.
Would you feel this way if the Pats were in the talks for getting Suh ?
They too have done dumb things in the past, but with them they call it reviving a career.

What makes you think they are not? Because the media has not said anything. I am willing to bet anything that ANY team that has at least $10 million in salary cap space, has kicked the tires with Suh's agent.

there are really only 2 teams that have the money to overpay and still have money to pick a couple FAs more....the Raiders and the Jags. I HOPE the Raiders go with Knighton personally and build from the draft.

I would take Suh on the Pats if the price was right. But not for the money he is reported to be looking for.

I don't know what you mean by dumb things, if you mean they've signed some reclamation projects, sure they've done that in the past. It has usually for low money. The only one I can think of off the top of my head that really never worked out was Chad Johnson (They still went to the SB that year). Albert Haynesworth ended up being a fat out of shape POS who they cut anyway so it didn't cost them anything. Dillon and Moss ended up being home runs, especially Dillon.

The dumb part was before they signed them .... all of them were risks, but the Pats, manage to reshape them and get the most out of them, with few exceptions. (Haynesworth).

If Suh moves to the Pats and does well, he'll be made to be a saint, unfortunately.
They will say, Look what the Pats did with him.

Im not sure I really see the problem there, just puts the culture of their former teams in question.

Sounds like San Diego is entering the Suh sweepstakes.

Just read, Chris morteson reporting suh going to Dolphins, will sign on Tuesday, good luck and good riddance :)

Bye, Bye Mr. Suh ...
You had Great expectations coming to Detroit ...
With your on field antics and over all play, I don't think you'll be missed all that much.

Now Lions, take that saved money, go out and sign a capable replacement, they are out there.
Theres always someone else out there.
And while your at it, fill other holes.

Lions had a much better D Line when he arrived than when he left.

More mediocre seasons for us dolphin fans. Don't like the guy and don't like the move. At this point all I can hope for is he turns out to be a great fit and that somehow Miami hits on their draft picks. :no

I give you a lot of credit for being a realistic fan. If the Dolphins don't resign Clay because of this deal. Than it makes it even dumber. The star-f****rs love this deal.

BTW, we have a clown that writes for the globe named Ben Volin. You guys can have him back, he sucks.

Send him down here and we'll throw him in the ocean.....

49ers are a dumpster fire, there were rumors of Kaepernick on the trade block and now both Justin Smith and Patrick Willis are retiring.

That clears up some cap room, but for who? Free agency has already had the beat players plucked out of it for the most part. Jags and Raiders about to overpay a bunch of guys so they don't have to just cut a check to the NFLPA also.

That fire was lit last year when the front office began undermining the best coach they've had since Seifert. They then poured gas on it when the fired him and plucked a Jim Nobody from Nowhere to succeed him.

Now they're purging the roster.
I don't even want to know what they're going to do next.
