NFL 2013 Season

NFL's head of officiating is now saying that the reason the refs made the decision that they did is because the contact and the interception happened at the same time and there's no pass interference on a tipped ball. So now he's contradicting what the refs said after the game, which that they picked it up because it was not catchable.

Hey now.....
Who you trading ?
You said older players, if they are not playing well enough for the Steelers, how do you expect to get better players in exchange ?

Troy, Clark, Woodley and Taylor.

Who cares about the Steelers..
Pats got robbed and now have the Broncos coming to town.

I expect BB and company to be well prepared for this one!

I'm visiting family for the next week and a half. While I've been to hundreds of Tigers, Wings and Wolverines games over the years, I haven't been to a Lions football game in ages. Heck, I haven't even been to a game at Ford Field. The last time I saw a game in person was when Detroit beat Green Bay at the Silverdom while Barry Sanders was on the team. Anyway, I'm actually considering attending a game this Sunday against Tampa Bay...if the tickets were right priced. We shall see.

If ya go hold up a sign so we can spot ya in the crowd.

I'm going to my first NFL game ever this weekend. Heading to St. Louis to watch my Bears play the Rams. Should be a pretty awesome weekend. First I'm going to the Iowa/Michigan game Saturday then heading to STL for the game on Sunday. GO BEARS!

What's been odd for me is that I've been to Soldier Field twice but never seen a Bears game. Both times I went it was to watch Iowa play Northern Illinois.

Well, the Lions lost to the Steelers but they're still 1st in the NFC North because they have the better Division and conference record. Playoff rankings have the Lions holding the 3rd seed, Bears with the 8th seed, and Packers with the 10th seed.

Eagles with the 4th seed, and Panthers with the 5th seed!Hopefully it changes up,which I'm sure it will,Eagles will be lucky to make the playoffs, hoping the Panthers can win the South.

and the Vikes are gonna start Ponder again this week.........again why did we sign Freeman?

can this season be over ?

Priced tickets and decided it wasn't worth it. I'll be going to a Wings game or two since the family has season tickets and, although I'm not a basketball fan, I was able to get a military discount on Pistons tickets so I picked-up eight tickets at $17 per on the lower-level (about the price of a single ticket to a Lions game).

Minnesota Vikings....making us proud.

By the way....so they got Freeman for 3 million to hold a clipboard....Damn Vikes you overpaid. I'll do it for 100 grand :)
they have a above average running game and a good defense be it a bit old and slow. keeping the D off the field as much as possible is a must.

imo they got the wrong guy, Tebow would fit in well with the Vikes a extra blocker on some running plays and a runner on others. and a few tick plays like the forward pass. they would have turned the ball over less in the second half's and the D would be fresher. 3-5 more wins.

I remember the butt fumble very well. I was eating turkey and mash potatoes. The moment Sanchez ran into that wall of fat (?), I choked on my food and started laughing. To this day, I still laugh at that.

Well lions are 0-2 since most if not all the local pundits said the lions should most likely win out, I guess they forgot it is the lions
