My dad had quadruple pass surgery. And I am sure Fox is in a lot better shape than he is. My prayers go out to him for a speedy recovery.

My cousin had a valve replacement surgery,he has a metal valve now,in his 30's at the time, took him at least 3 months to be sort of normal.6 months for a full recovery.I'm sure Fox will do well,it just takes time to recover from a surgery like that. The soreness and trying to keep from getting an infection afterwards is tough though.A simple cold can make it extremely tough.

I see the Dolphins have a real mess on thier hands, with the Martin and Incognito situation.

I don't think either of them ever play another down for the Dolphins and possibly in the NFL ever again.

So probably not something to get done going into cold and flu season unless you have a bubble you can live in?

Not exactly, lessened exposure to the public is highly recommended though.;)

Really exposes how well this organization is being run. :facepalm

Incognito has been a complete a$$h@!3 all his life. Constantly considered one of the dirtiest and nastiest players in the league AND I have seldom heard a great deal of loss when he is no longer in a football team he has played for. It has finally caught up to him and it could not happen to a nicer guy. The Martin kid, from day one, even if he was going to get his a$$ handed too him, just should of punch Incognito in the mouth... To show that idiot that he might get his a$$ kicked, Incognito WILL RESPECT HIM.

9-0! Losing streak starts after the bye though :p

If the Chiefs can return to week 3-6 form, they have a good shot at beating the Broncos. Eat up the clock on offense and put lots of pressure on the qb while on defense. Peyton doesn't play as well after being hit a few times...

Fantasy football players must be pulling their hair out this season, now apparently Aaron Rodgers has gone down to a (non-throwing arm) shoulder injury. Not sure how severe it is.

Note: the only reason the Lions have the 3rd seed right now is because they have the better conference record of 4-2. Bears have the better divisional record against the Packers at 2-1 which places them in 7th and the Packers in 8th.

No doubt Incognito is an ass...but am on the fence on this issue. I read some of the texts he sent Martin this AM and its actually something I would write (minus the racial slur of course). My friends would all agree am a fun loving, sarcastic prankster...but I do know the limits. Based on my own experience, it seems to me Incognito was just having fun and the joke went too far... When I send stupid emails/texts and/or posts, its all in good fun and malice is never intended... but I admit there are times I shake my head wondering why I said this and that.

Am thinking he was just having fun in his own way (you dont start a message with "hey wassup" if you genuinely hate the person)... however, given his reputation across the league.. he's definetely guilty in the court of popular opinion.

Looking at the rest of the Lions schedule, they a very good shot at making the playoffs this year with my guess winning 6 of their next 8.

Week 10-Bears (probably the hardest matchup)
Week 11- Steelers (almost guaranteed win)
Week 12- Buccaneers (almost guaranteed win)
Week 13- Packers (If Rodgers is still out by then and the Lions are healthy and make no stupid mistakes, they'll have a shot)
Week 14- Eagles (Not as easy as Steelers and Bucs, but a good shot at winning)
Week 15- Ravens (Not doing so good at 3-5, but they haven't played each other in 3 years so it'll be interesting)
Week 16- Giants (almost guaranteed win)
Week 17- Vikings (almost guaranteed win)

If it was limited to that one instance I would tend to agree, but unfortunately, it doesn't look that way....

Sources familiar with the tapes say these are terms Incognito used over time and were not isolated incidents, including the use of the racial epithet multiple times.

Sources also say Martin received a series of texts that included derogatory terms referring to the female anatomy and sexual orientation.

I'm in no way defending Incognito, but they need to investigate further to make sure it was just him. Right now I think that he is being the fall guy for the Dolphins. Just put it all on him & sweep the rest under the rug.

I have a feeling this is about to get uglier real soon. Incognito is a douche bag but I find it hard to believe no one else knew or was involved in this one way or another.

I think Fox reported that Dolphins players were defending Incognito. If true, the Dolphins are more dysfunctional than previously thought in the past.
