NFL 2013 Season

Wallace so far has been a huge over paid disappointment. When it's not Ryan not throwing the ball well to him, he drops them when they are accurately thrown to his direction. Guy doesn't seem to hustle for most plays. Very frustrating to say the least.

I think this is a HUGE reason the Steelers let him go, he was very good with the Steelers, when he wanted to be, it also helped that he didn't have to do it all, they had 3 good WR's going at the time ... Sanders, Brown and Wallace, the year before, they gave Brown the big contract instead of Wallace.

Something that was brought up yesterday on the local radio station down here. WHY is it that when a QB yells at his coach, he is considered a "fiery leader" or "you can tell he really cares about winning" ...but if someone OTHER than the QB does it, it is for selfish reason. Why does the QB always gets the benefit of the doubt and no one else does?

Yep.... good ole ASSUMPTIONS!

But guys, something something diva something!

I'll stand by what I said. There was nothing bad in that clip but that wasn't even the main part of his blowup. Later he was screaming in the face of one of the other coaches and then got in shouting matches with Jason Witten and Demarcus Ware. There is a reason they didn't release the audio from that part of the blowup.

This may have been mentioned before, but I wonder if the rise of ACL injuries is part of the unintended consequences of trying to prevent head injuries(concussions). If you can't hit the top of the player, hit the bottom. I thought chop blocks were illegal.

They are ....

Also, theres a BIG difference in hitting to tackle a guy low and a Chop Block.

Isn't a chop block where two people are engaged and a third person comes in and goes low?

It could be just two. First one engaged high, second one low is a chop block. I believe an initial charge of players at the LOS can be low, but not high first then low...

Is that anecdotal or has there been an actual rise?

That's my question, there seems to be a noticeable increase in ACL injuries, but it could just be that more bigger name athletes are getting injured,so that's why the spotlight is so big. I based this question on Brandon Meriweather stating, after his one game suspension, that he guesses he'll have to take people's knees out now. That's what caused me to pose this question. Is the seeming rise in ACL injuries related to the emphasis of trying to avoid hits to the head or just bad luck this season?

What a game!Dolphins win on a safety,a lot of turnovers but a win is a win.On the acl note, looks like Geno Atkins is out for the season with acl tear.

That sucks for Geno.

The Bengals were just awful. The receivers couldn't catch the ball and Dalton couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.
