talk about digging for something in the week of the super bowl and last game of the man's career.......

It's actually been out there for a while, this is the supplement maker that Hue Jackson had to abandon when he became a head coach. Ray Lewis has gone from being a known associate of the company, to saying he's never bought anything ever from them... which would seem to be untrue given the voice conversation and his history with the company.

This isn't just being dredged up by a blogger, it was reported 2 years ago by Yahoo and more or less ignored, this is being reported now by a pulitzer prize winning journalist at SI.

As if the murder wrap wasn't enough, welcome to the asterisk club Ray. Would it really be all that surprising for someone to be in the league 17 years without doing something? Torn triceps are a season ending injury, yet here he is.

Don't think any of this will ever be proven though.

can't argue with anything you just said there.

nah i'm good. i do hope miami has a plan because we were already very low on offensive weapons.

Rumor out west is they Raiders MAY go after to him just incase McFadden breaks down. For as talented as Tawain Jones is, they just don't trust his hands and durability...and there are rumors that Mr. Jones may change to DB(was recruited by Washington as a DB first and RB 2nd).

he'll be a nice piece for your offense no doubt.

Re: NFL 2013 Off-season notes & transactions

Think he'd be too expensive to be a backup. Few things are more reliable than McFadden missing a few games.

No idea what type money Bush will command but,I think he has proven he can be the feature back.I still don't understand why Miami is letting him go,unless it's just a money issue.

They also think that Lamar Miller is a beast waiting to explode....and he is younger and cheaper and under contract for the next 4 years.

Who? Never heard of him. Where did he go to school?

I saw a few plays he made towards the end of the season. He does seem to have some explosive burst. Not sure he'll be as good as Bush, time will tell.I lean more towards Philbin, relying more on the passing game. The Packers never did have a true feature back with the McCarthy regime.

Unless they get some real WR, you cannot rely on that. They will have the most cap space AND the most picks, if I am not mistaken, of any team in the NFL. GM better not fudge THIS draft and FA class up.

Well, coming out of the cave & from under the rock that I have been staying,I just found out that Joe Flacco will be an unrestricted free agent after the Super Bowl. If the Ravens win the SB,how much will that increase the interest among other teams to vie for his services? Forget Alex Smith, who I am still high on,would Dallas,Jacksonville,Oakland,New York Jets,Phoenix,& yes, even Kansas City bid for him to come to their team? Since,as people say, there is no franchise QB in the draft, will Flacco & Alex Smith be the most sought after players in the free agent market? Wouldn't it be ironic if Flacco signs with someone else & the Ravens sign Alex Smith to replace him?
