Steelers bringing in Plaxico Burres and possibly Donavan Mcnabb.

Mike Wallace looked like he was wearing #117.

From last night's game... Ed Reed suspended 1 game for repeat offenses striking people in the head/neck over the last 3 years. Leftwich apparently has cracked ribs and a shoulder injury Plaxico appears to be headed back to Pittsburgh.

Donavan Mcnabb ???

I heard Plex was coming in, but hadn't heard about Donavan.

Only on the rumor mill but I wouldn't be surprised. How long can Batch at 37 last behind that patchwork O-line?

Mcnabb should be 100% healthy assuming he shied away from the big macs and hoppers lol.Garrard is very injury prone.

Ed Reed's appeal has reduced his suspension to a $50k fine.

Said Cottrell in the letter to Reed: “I have determined that your actions were egregious and warrant significant discipline. However, I do not believe that your actions were so egregious as to subject you to a one-game suspension without pay. P layer safety is the league’s primary concern in the formation of playing rules and all players are expected to adhere to those rules or face disciplinary action. I hope in the future you will focus on ensuring that your play conforms to the rules.”

That was easy...........................

Aaron Curry expirament in Oakland has ended with his release today. Bad knees kept him from really doing much, they gave up a 7th last year and a 5th next for him.

Too bad because when he first got to Oakland...he played really well. Then he got injured and he quality of play dropped significantly after that. I had a strange feeling he was gonna cut anyway at the end of the season.

EDIT: I think the 5th next year was a conditional pick.

Yeah, I remember liking him when the Chiefs passed on him and drafted Tyson Jackson, who's career hasn't exactly been all that great either. Rounding out the top 5 of that draft is Stafford, OT Jason Smith, and Mark Sanchez. At LB, Texans got Cushing at 15, Packers got Matthews at 26.
