Good yes, but FAR from where they NEED to be ...

Need HEALTHY Players first ...
Well if they have a losing record they can get a good draft pick, they haven't had one in awhile.

They always draft well at least early rounds ...
I thought they said that DeCastro would be back this year, have you heard anything good or bad regarding him of late ?

The Matt Cassell tenure is over in KC.

Kansas City coach Romeo Crennel announced Monday that Brady Quinn will start over a healthy Cassel on Sunday at home against Oakland. Crennel also told reporters that Quinn will keep the job for the foreseeable future. He said he didn’t want Quinn looking over his shoulder.

Cassel no longer has to do that exercise. He knows his fate. His tenure as the Chiefs’ quarterback is in the books. Oh, sure, he might play here and there the rest of the season if Quinn gets banged up. But if Quinn fails, I’d think the Chiefs would look at No. 3 quarterback Ricky Stanzi to finish the season. Cassel likely will be cut after the season and become another team’s backup next year.

So Romeo is going with the guy that helped him get fired in Cleveland?

Brady Quinn is, and I don't think it's close, the worst starting quarterback in the NFL.

I wonder why these guys fail miserably when they leave New England? The only guy with any success is Thomas Dimitroff in Atlanta, and they haven't won a playoff game.

Pretty much, question now is Geno Smith or Barkley?

Would be nice if Gruden or Cowher were a possibility too. Know how Gruden loves to groom QBs.

I think cowher will stay put. he's too comfortable with his job at CBS sports. Gruden I can see coming back. That guy is obsessed with the coaching part of the nfl. Even though he's at espn he studies film as if he were coaching.

Holmgren needs to get an announcing job.Like Bill Parcels he seems to have lost his mojo.

The ironic thing is that with all of New England's success with winning Super Bowls 36,38 and 39, nobody has worked out anywhere else. Romeo Crennel didnt work in Cleveland and hasnt worked in KC and Charlie Weis didnt do that great at Norte Dame.

Also, this will make all the single guys on this board, including yours truly, happy: http://www.usatoday.com/story/gameo...ark-sanchez-splits-with-eva-longoria/1653175/

Eva Longoria is back on the market!!!:excited::excited: I have a chance!!!

My Bills are struggling mightily amidst high hopes before the season.

Our high-priced defense makes the Saints defense look like the Steel Curtain.

We are squandering an easy schedule and chance to make noise- next year, we get the AFC North and NFC South (including road games at Pittsburgh, New Orleans, and Cincinnati)

Guys, what's the best solution to MAYBE turn this thing around? I know we're only 3-4 (and I saw the '94 Pats and '95 Lions go from 3-6 to 10-6), and our finishing schedule after New England has winning streak potential

Your team has an offense that can win 10-11 games, problem is you have a 12 loss defense. Mario Williams is a complete bust, so is Mark Anderson. Of course Wanny is your D coordinator so its not going to get any better this year.

I have never seen a weekend that the recvrs CANNOT hold on to the ball, College or Pro, it's been the weekend of the Dropped Passes.

According to the company that claims to be providing Chargers with Stickum-like towels, as many as 70% of NFL teams have used their product before, apparently not enough of them right now.

Lester Hayes was the master of stickum,he would be very sad to see it be banned again.:D

Complete bust? Can we at least give them a second season before passing judgment. (Maybe give them a new D coordinator?!)

Jay Cutler looked bad at times in his first year with Chicago- that's worked out well.
