NFL 2012-13 Season

Patriots became the first team in NFL history with three consecutive games of having 30 or more first downs. Today they set a team record with 35 first downs. Now THAT'S how you wear out defenses!

Buffalo has allowed at least 550 yards in consecutive games. That hasn't happened since 1950.

I may be about to unleash a major rant later this week.

Their run defense has to be considered a major disappointment, considering the money they spent during the offseason.

The Pats now get ready to face their former head coach (aka the meat in the Tuna/Belichick sandwich) next week in Seattle.

Buffalo allowed over 300 yards rushing and passing.

1200 yards allowed in the last 2 games.

This is disgraceful.

Like I said, so much for the improved Buffalo defense. They gave up 48 pts. to the Jets, 52 pts. to the Pats and now 45 pts. to the 49ers. I was pulling for them this year. Fear the Bills...to lose next week.

Giants gave me a scare today. Browns put up a fight. Great game by Bradshaw today, 200 yds. Victor Cruz, 3TDs. Great win by the Colts today. Played very hard and Reggie Wayne had a great game today.

Was it just me or was there some dull games today? I mean the Packers/Colts, Falcons/Redskins were good games but what else was there? The Eagles game, to me, was dull. The Giants game was pretty good considering that the Browns were beating them early in the 1st half.

I don't thnk it's any fluke that the Packers are now 2-3. Both their defense and offensive line look shaky at best.

Ya, especially seeing the Steelers were coming off a bye, kinda expected a better performance.

Hernando coming back this week, the offense is only going to get better.

Great win for the Colts, wow the Vikes might be for real!

If butterfinger Vick would get some stickum or some grip gloves the Eagles would have beat the Steelers.Turnovers in at the goal line or inside the 5 have led to 2 losses. They better get it fixed or they won't make the playoffs.

Congrats to your Dolphins Rey,their D is stout. And I swear just for a second yesterday I almost saw Dan Marino at QB.No not in is overall performance but,in his mannerisms. If his jersey had a 13 it would have been uncanny.

I think the Chargers got screwed by the refs. That offensive pass interference call was unbelievable.

Geesh had to take Fitzpatrick as my starting QB because of byes yesterday.Yikes he scored 3 points. What is up with the Bills?

The same question applies to the Panthers.

What a disgusting display by a lot...not just some, but a lot of the HOME TOWN Chiefs fans cheering that Matt Cassell went down. I just so happened to be watching that game....it was terrible. I have see alot of bad Raiders games at home...and never have I heard Raider fans CHEER that their QB was injured. And we are talking from Pastorini, David Humm, Marinovich, Aaron Brooks and Jamarcus Fat-ass years...a lot of bad QBs. Never did I hear HOME town fans cheer that the QB or any other position player get hurt.

I just finished reading Peter King's MMQB column, and he mentioned this. Very disgusting. I realize that Matt has struggled out there this year, but that's no reason for fans to act like jackasses!

David Humm?!! Wow, there's a blast from the past! I remember when Humm and Mike Rae backed up the Snake. :)

Patriots looked incredible on offense yesterday. That 4X hurry-up is something to be reckoned with and put our pathetic defense to shame..........

That and the lame conservative playcalling in the first 3 quarters of the game. You're down 17-7, you're at midfield, it's 3rd down and 4, you have Peyton Manning as QB, what do you do? Run up the middle with your 3rd string RB. Nice call. These guys don't realize they have Peyton "Freaking" Manning...let him loose!!! I want to see him just say FU to Mike McCoy and start calling his own games.

And, IF we didn't have those 2 stupid turnovers and that 4th down drop from McGahee.......................IF IF IF

And the biggest difference from years past is their ability to ram the ball down opponents throats. Stevan Ridley is a superstar in the making (his fumble yesterday notwithstanding), Brandon Bolden has been a revelation as a free agent rookie, and Danny Woodhead continues to come up big in key moments. When they get Aaron Hernandez back for the passing game (probably next week), I honestly don't know how this offense can be stopped.

Champ Bailey said the speed of the game was the biggest problem, they were running mega hurryup, even on running plays, and the defense didn't have time to get set, the players were still too high on running plays, and just getting blown off the line.
