Just to set the record straight...

Man shot outside Oakland Raiders-Arizona Cardinals game

...Raiders fans show their colors.....

Jesse Nance · Mesa, Arizona
I was at the Cardinals game, and it was a Raiders fan who shot a Cardinals fan. It's because Raiders fans are a bunch of gangbanging thugs. The entire game, Raiders fans were starting fights and being forced from the Stadium by the Cops. Two of them fought with the Arizona State Troopers, one was injured. I was watching raiders fans after raiders fans, starting fights and being tossed out the entire game, so often that I wasn't even watching the game. I've been to plenty of Cards games, but not anything like this. Raiders fans are the worst fans in the world.

OAKLAND -- An Oakland Raiders fan was shot in the face by an Arizona Cardinals fan in a parking lot outside the teams' preseason football game in Glendale, Ariz., on Friday night, police said. It isn't known whether the shooting involved a fan dispute.

Guess there goes the theory that it was a Raider fan that did the shooting...

Probably a "Stand My Ground" case for the Arizona fan. :D

That is what was reported at the time.

If you read the article...............it looks like it may have been a case of self defense. The older man was not arrested.

The 30-year-old Raiders fan was wearing silver face paint when he was shot, Glendale police said Tuesday, but it's unclear why the 57-year-old Cardinals fan, at the game with his wife, shot him.
"There has been absolutely no information obtained by investigators that would point to a specific conflict" between the two men over their team allegiances, Glendale police said in a statement. The shooting happened during the middle of the third quarter of the game.
The shooter had called 911 and told police the shooting was accidental. He has not been arrested, and officers continue to investigate, police said. A verbal skirmish preceded the shooting in the nearly empty parking lot, police said.
"What we can tell you is that there was not enough compelling evidence gathered on scene, through statements or physical evidence, to make the investigators comfortable with an arrest on the 57-year-old male," police said.
The Cardinals couple had been watching the game and left before it ended, police said. It was unclear whether the Raiders fan, who is in stable condition, had been in the stadium at any point.

I wonder if a 57 year old man and his wife who were on their way home from the game, started a "verbal skirmish" with a 30 year old Raider fan with his face painted silver?????????

I wonder what made him pull out his gun?

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM???????????

I wonder......

(still Raiders fans showing their colors.......)

I'd replace "Fear" with "Laugh at"

I think the Bills have the longest Playoff drought in the NFL.

Miami at least it seems to have their QB of the future, the Bills do not.

I'm not worried about Ryan Tannehill. Who's gonna catch the ball for him, now that Ochocinco got cut and Brandon Marshall got traded? Devon freaking Bess???

To me... it looks like that is the Pats division to loose. The Bills CLEARLY are the 2nd best team in that division...and the Jets seems to not have firepower offensively anymore and the Dolphins do not have enough.

I think the Bills QB is pretty good in that system.

I think Devon is pretty good. BUT, when you have just him and Bush, those guys are gonna get alot of zone coverages and the moment that starts to get burnt, look for Best and Bush(when he comes out of the backfield to catches passes)..to get alot of attention.

Finally watched the replay of the Raiders preseason game against the Cards and the Raiders #1s on defense and offense totally outplayed the Cards #1s..except on special teams. Kolb was running for his life and sacked 3 times. The Cards ran a punt for a 60 TD and blocked a punt 49 yard TD return. The Raiders had only 4 penalties and I was happy with the play. Of course, as stated a few post before...we had quite a few too many injuries.

The better "dress rehearsal" will be Saturday's game against the Lions.

Thats how everyone has looked against the Cardinals.

Found this on the Denver Broncos forum. I might pick up the mag just to see the whole league.

Here's the info about the Broncos and AFC West. I agree with the author of the post that KC is probably better than SD.

ESPN the Mag 9/3/12 Issue
Hey guys,
I don't know how many of you get ESPN the magazine, but I got the newest issue in today and it had a predicition for every game for every team. I guess they use some sort of simulation called accuscore that projects the final score. I'll share some interesting tidbits with you guys, but if you don't already subscribe to the magazine, this would be a good one just to pick up at the newstand.
For Denver:
W PIT 21.2-19.8
W @ATL 27.7-25.3
W HOU 26.3-23.7
W OAK 26.4-21.3
L @NE 30.8-33.8
W @SD 30.8-30.4
BYE
L NO 29.9-30.2
W @CIN 29.3-23.9
W @CAR 31.5-27.1
L SD 26.6-26.8
W @KC 28.6-21.7
W TB 29.6-20.8
W @OAK 29.8-23.0
L @BAL 25.4-26.1
W CLE 26.7-17.5
W KC 25.5-19.6

Final Record 12-4
Division:
San Diego - 13-3 (Uhhhh...what?)
Denver - 12-4
KC - 6-10 (Again...what?)
Oakland - 4-12

I think KC is by far a better team than SD so I don't understand that, but whatever.

They have Manning tearing it up with 65% comp, 4380 yds, 29 TD's, 11 Int's.

For the playoffs they said they skipped the simulation, and went off of gut feeling after the regular season determined the playoff bracket.
For Denver:
Wildcard - W vs Texans
Divisional - W vs Ravens
AFC Champ - W vs Patrios (Sweet)
Super Bowl - L vs Packers (Not so sweet)

Like I said, a cool issue with some different insight on our chances. I disagree with a few things but would be ok with a 12-4 season haha. They also have an article on Manning and his preparation where they project both Decker and Thomas to have 1,000 yard seasons.

If they can win those tough early home games, they probably go undefeated at Invesco and win 10+ games this season. Will depend more on the defense than the offense.

That would be awesome! You know how long it's been since I've seen a winning home schedule??? Seems like forever. It sucks going home after all those losses, it's so damn quiet as everyone just shuffles out of the stadium.

We ALWAYS had the home field advantage (and home wins to go with it) at the old Mile High.

I would be VERY happy with 10 wins, ecstatic with the 12 the computer gave us.

I don't think the Broncos defense is any better than it was last year, in the playoffs last year the Patriots could of scored 70 if they wanted too.

I guess it's mandatory at ESPN for someone to go overboard with their Peyton Manning ball washing.

Chiefs will win the west.

Here is how I think the west shakes out. Again this is just my opinion.
