NFL 2009-10 Season

So no truth to the rumor in Gradkowski competing openly with Jamarcus Russel for the starting spot? The Raiders were rather aggressive in gobbling Gradkowski up as soon as he was available.

No none...please! JaMarcus was playing very good towards the end of the season because they let the young'ens play like...Johnny Lee Higgins and Chad Thillens play. They are NOT happy about flat footed as all hell #2 QB Walter...has a great arm and a very quick release...but for some reason, he is petrified of doing ANY scrabbling....even to save his life!

Jax released Jerry Porter today.....DO NOT be surprised if he ends up BACK in Oakland as the #3 receiver/possession receiver....and at a very reasonable price.

Hey Salsa - The pundits that be at ESPN, think if TO is released by Dallas, that he will end up in Oakland. Just what you're young QB needs - a guy who has thrown All-Pro QB's under the bus. For Russel's sake, I hope this doesn't happen.

You know.....Russell's in a different light to OTHER QBs because he is the Crypt Keeper's baby...THIS is the guy Al Davis wanted....some OUTSIDER would not change the old man's mind about JL. I am still sort of 50-50 on whether I would TO on the team. I mean if we were a receiver away...I might say pull the trigger. But we need SO MUCH MORE....that he would NOT make a difference. The team needs to keep building for the future with YOUNG TANLENT....not guys like this...were he IS good...but he ain't that young...and he cannot help block for the QB....;)

Oakland (and KC) would be better off signing good not great receivers out of FA with the hopes of them becoming great over the next year or three as the teams improve and the systems gel. Otherwise you're paying for performance you can't cash in on.

Me....I think he would be a better fit with KC if Gonzalez leaves.

The only place TO would ever work out successfully with would be New England. The "team" atmosphere and the system instilled by Belichick is second to none. If you want to play there, your ego is checked at the door. There were a few attitude heavy players that went there and succeeded by conforming to the Patriots way of doing things. IMO, there isn't another franchise out there that is strong enough to handle TO.

At his age, I think TO's days as a game-changer are behind him, anyhow. Seriously, after what TO has done to all his other QB's, the last thing Russell would need now is a washed up superstar destroying his psyche.

Raiders re-sign CB Chris Johnson to a 4-year deal.

McFadden and Russell both had offseason surgery... McFadden for a shoulder injury in his great game against the Chiefs but reportedly avoided team doctors cause of how they handled his turf toe. Russell was for bone chips in his ankle. Both should be good to go for offseason stuff in mid-March

I think Bill just had a heart attack.

let's say this; if he does end up in NE which i don't see happening, Bill Bellichick won't tolerate any of his Bullsh!t! he would have to grow up real fast! what a waste! such a talent but with the wrong attitude.

T.O. I would take, albeit reluctantly.

I'm the first to admit that I was wrong about Randy Moss. I wanted no part of him after what he pulled on the Raiders. Not only has Randy produced great numbers on the field, he has been a model citizen off the field. :up

Adam Jones, on the other hand........................NEVER!!!!!

Adam Jones, on the other hand........................NEVER!!!!!

Bill, let me put it to you this way:

The following three things are more likely to happen than the Patriots doing something so stupid as that:

1. HD MM is seen and photographed wearing a shirt that says "I love all things Pittsburgh"

2. Sandra shows a picture of herself

3. Super Bowl XLIV pits the Lions vs. the Bengals

TJ Houshmandzadeh WANTS OUT!
I am sure the Patriots could use someone like him and move Welker as a slot receiver (he is more affective there).
Imagine Moss/Welker/TJ on the same team....with Brady back 100%...can you say the Stallworth/Moss days are over?
Anyways, thats just a wish..I doubt it will ever happen.
I think TB or the chargers may go for him.

Titans would love to have him...however they will be disbursing some serius cash towards Haynesworth to keep him.
If the Titans let him go......which team should pick him up?
My money is on the Colts LOL..

He's certainly no diva.

Bill, what do you think?

Would you want Housmanzadeh in Patriot Blue?

I would LOVE to have Who's your mama, but The Pats have salary cap issues as it is (if they keep Cassel). They need to address the secondary and inside linebacker, before they can think about adding to their riches at receiver.
