I think I just threw-up in my mouth. :neener

Broncos cut Boss Bailey, who is still recovering from a knee injury or something, so he hasnt practiced or anything yet this season.

Also read the Raiders first 2 picks are down with Hamstring injuries (Mitchell has had one a while, the WR has injured his a 2nd time), as Greg Ellis takes his first reps with the team today.

 Don't get it.

Read the last paragraph in the NFL section

They went 11-5, I am not sure Brady at the helm would have done much better.

They win the Jets and Colts games no problem with Brady. Most likely they still lose the first Miami game and the one @ the Chargers. Not sure about the Steelers game, but I can assure you Brady doesn't turn the ball over 5 times.

Didn't Boss Bailey just get there ?
He came over to be able to play on the same team as his brother.

Did they send one to Bernard Pollard?

Sorry, I'm not buying it (and I'm a Pats fan).

First of all, the Steelers kicked the Pats butts up and down the field in Foxboro. IMO, Brady wouldn't have made a difference in that game.

And secondly, it was the Pats defense that sucked last year, not the quarterback play (that being said, OF COURSE the Pats will be a better team with Brady back).

Nope, 2008 was the Steelers year.

Hopefully (for us), 2009-10 will be the Pats year with an improved defense (at least on paper) and Brady back under center!

He's right. The defense is what cost them the Jets game

Do not forget the addition of Fred Taylor at RB.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the addition of Taylor (I've always loved his game), but the Pats running game wasn't really an issue last year.

Between Sammy Morris, LaMont Jordan and the always reliable Kevin Faulk the Pats had a very serviceable running game in '08.

Lawrence Maroney has promised this will be the year he finally blossoms (it BETTER be, for his sake ), Morris and Faulk are back, and Taylor essentially replaces Jordan.

So on paper at least, the running game looks even better in '09.

Jimbo, Taylor is not an injury-plagued player; he's a guy who I think can be very useful.

He has a nose for the end zone, can get the short yards, and is great at pounding opposing defenses players.

Not to mention with Brady back, opponents D will be concentrating on the passing game.

Yeppers, I'll take Fred Taylor on my team.........thank you very much! :D
